Privacy Policy

Information stored on your device

FillWell stores hydration logs, goals, units, reminder preferences, bottle choices, appearance settings, history, and achievement progress locally on your device. FillWell does not send this app data to us or a third-party server. The limited weather and subscription processing described below applies when you use those features.

Purchases and subscriptions

FillWell uses Apple's App Store and RevenueCat to offer and manage FillWell Pro subscriptions. Apple processes payments. RevenueCat may receive an anonymous app user identifier, device type, operating system, app usage timestamps related to the purchase service, App Store receipt information, and subscription transaction status. FillWell uses this information to display products, validate purchases, restore purchases, and determine whether FillWell Pro features are available.

FillWell does not send hydration logs, Apple Health data, or weather location coordinates to RevenueCat. FillWell does not provide RevenueCat with your name or email address. RevenueCat processes subscription information on our behalf. Read RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

Notifications

If enabled, FillWell schedules local notifications. Notification permission is controlled by your device settings and is not used to collect personal information.

Apple Health

If enabled, FillWell may read water intake, step count, active energy, and workout data from Apple Health. FillWell may write FillWell water logs to Apple Health. Apple Health permission is optional and controlled by your iPhone settings.

Water data keeps hydration history in sync on your device. Step count, active energy, and workout data are used only on your device for activity-informed hydration suggestions. FillWell does not use Apple Health data for advertising or marketing and does not send Apple Health data to us or a third-party server.

FillWell does not request medical records, diagnoses, medications, heart rate, or other clinical health categories.

Deleting logs in FillWell removes the local FillWell copy only. Apple Health entries are managed separately in the Health app.

Location and weather

If you enable weather-aware hydration, FillWell requests foreground location permission and sends your current latitude and longitude to Apple Weather to retrieve temperature, humidity, and weather conditions. FillWell uses the result to calculate a weather-based hydration suggestion and stores the latest weather result on your device.

FillWell does not receive or store precise coordinates on a FillWell server and does not use location for advertising or tracking. Apple states that WeatherKit location information is used only to provide forecasts, is not associated with personally identifiable information, and is not tracked between requests. Weather-aware hydration is optional. You can use FillWell without location permission and disable the feature or permission at any time.

Feedback email

The optional feedback button opens your email app. If you send feedback, we receive the email address and message you choose to provide and use them only for support and product improvement.

Analytics, advertising, and tracking

The current version does not include advertising or cross-app tracking SDKs. RevenueCat processes the limited purchase, subscription, and technical information described above to provide the subscription service. FillWell does not sell personal information or track users across apps or websites.

Deleting your data

You can clear all water logs and History from FillWell Settings. Uninstalling FillWell also removes locally stored app data.

Children

FillWell is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
